Situated on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington state, the artists of STILLFire Pottery create their signature line of fine handcrafted porcelain pottery. Since 1980, Carol Ann Bauer has been working professionally in clay, designing & producing many lines of her decorated functional pieces. Joining her full time in 1995, Howard Hamsa, husband and business manager made it possible to move to Whidbey and build this as their family business.
Whether you are looking for a unique gift for someone special, the perfect piece to create a quiet focal point of beauty in a room, or a set of dinnerware that reflects your sense of style, STILLFire Pottery has a great selection of work for you.
With most of our in person shows cancelled again this year,
we have missed seeing our longtime customers and meeting new ones!
Our online store has launched and new items are being posted as we have time!
Choose items to be shipped or pick up curbside at our studio on Whidbey.
If you'd like to come to Whidbey, we are available by appt only.
Contact us via phone or email to set up a time slot.
Thank you to all our customers who have ordered work during this time,
those orders have helped keep us going.
Along with our signature line of functional porcelain pottery, we also make one of a kind raku marine themed wall pieces as well as an evolving selection of porcelain jewelry.
Each piece is formed individually by hand, glazed & decorated with our own specially formulated glazes, and gas fired to 2400 degrees F. The finished ware is durable, lead-free, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe.
